Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how L.I.S.Trade collects, uses and protects personal data you provide through this website (www.listrade.co.uk) and our sub-sites, or when you enquire about or use our services.
We aim for plain English. If anything below is unclear, email ian@listrade.co.uk and we will explain.
01 Who we are
L.I.S.Trade is a UK business operating from England. The legal entity is L.I.S.Trade Ltd, currently being incorporated in England & Wales. Pending registration.
Until incorporation completes, the data controller is Ian, the founder, trading as L.I.S.Trade. We will update this page the moment incorporation is final.
02 What personal data we collect
We collect only what you give us, plus minimal technical data about your visit.

04 Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share only with a small set of service providers that help us operate. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement or equivalent terms.
- Hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosts this website. UK transfers safeguarded under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
- Email forwarding: IONOS UK Ltd — routes mail sent to
ian@listrade.co.ukto our business inbox. - Business email inbox: Microsoft (Outlook/Hotmail) — where we read and reply to mail.
- Analytics (planned): Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights ehf, Iceland) — cookie-less, GDPR-friendly. Not currently enabled. This page will be updated before it is.
- Accounting (planned): Pending — confirmed once trading commences and an accountant is engaged.
- Payment processing (planned): Pending — likely Stripe or GoCardless. Confirmed before first invoice.
05 How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that don't become a job: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer records for completed jobs: 6 years after the engagement ends (HMRC requirement).
- Build-log subscribers: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
- Server access logs: 30 days, then deleted by our hosting provider.
06 Cookies & tracking
This site currently sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixels, no consent banner needed. If that changes (we may add Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-less), we will update our Cookie Policy first.
07 International transfers
Some providers we use (Vercel, Microsoft) process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are safeguarded by UK Adequacy Regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
08 Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you (Subject Access Request).
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data deleted, where we no longer need it.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent (for the build-log) at any time.
To exercise any of these, email ian@listrade.co.uk. We respond within one month — usually within a few days.
If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
09 Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last edited. Substantive changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
